The Ohio Valley Shakespeare Conference aims to promote the study of the works and the cultural significance of William Shakespeare and other early modern dramatists. We do so primarily by planning, organizing, and holding annually a significant regional meeting for the presentation and discussion of original research and pedagogical issues. Our annual conference incorporates plenary addresses by major scholars in the field of Shakespeare or early modern studies, as well as related selected dramatic and musical performances. We operate and maintain the Conference exclusively for non-profit educational purposes.
